Jennifer Morales’ connection to New Beginnings Family Academy is a family thing. Not only does her own child and several cousins attend the school, but she has a strong familial tie to her students. “You could say I get a little stalkerish with my kids,” the middle school math teacher said laughing after a recent long day of crunching numbers in Room 158.

April is National Volunteer Month, a month dedicated to honoring those who volunteer in their communities. At New Beginnings Family Academy (NBFA) our many volunteers bring so much to the school. We thought it would be nice to highlight some of them for you. This is the second in the series.
