About the Director

 

Anyone who know Ronelle Swagerty, knows I love elephants! They are smart, loving, fiercely protective, have large families and make great moms. They not only love their own, but they take on the role of matriarch and care for the entire herd. I can relate to that. I'm the oldest of five, the mother of six and I have the honor of running a charter district that extends my posse by 500 children and 100 amazing staff members. In addition, I love to read, sunbathe and travel the world with my husband.

 

 

I have an innate desire to help people. NBFA allows me to utilize my skills and background to positively impact the lives of Bridgeport children and families. This is deeply satisfying to me. I could not think of a better place to work.
