BRIDGEPORT -- On Friday, June 14 the New Beginnings Family Academy graduating class of 2019 received their diplomas during a ceremony at Housatonic Community College.
Twenty-nine eighth graders received their diplomas during the ceremony. Bobbi Brown, an advocate for our youth in her native Bridgeport and surrounding areas, was the commencement speaker.
As of Friday 86 percent of NBFA graduates from 2019 were accepted into competitive high school programs.
